Hudson Graham, who was last seen throwing touchdown passes for the Effingham High School football team, has announced he's headed to Parkland College in Champaign to play baseball.
The left-hander was a leading pitcher for the EHS baseball team last spring and is primed for his senior season slated to start in just a few weeks.
EHS Coach Chris Fleener said Graham is a good young man and is a real boost as a left-hander, something a lot of school don't boast in their pitching corps.
Graham said he chose Parkland because it isn't too far away and since he likes the campus. He will join EHS graduate Brayden Bone on the Parkland squad next year.
Graham said he plans to major in Criminal Justice.
Hudson is the son of John and Nancy Graham. He has two sisters, McKenna and Jocelynne.
