ODIN -- Effingham St. Anthony High School was tied at 2-2 with Odin then tallied single runs in the fifth and seventh innings for a 4-2 baseball victory Monday evening.
The Bulldogs had five hits in the contest led by Greg Utz with two singles, a double and two RBI. Ethan Greene was the winning pitcher on a one-hitter with one walk and three strikeouts in four innings.

This score was tied at 2-2 until the bottom of the third when Altamont broke loose for eight runs and then had to hold off Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg to pull out a 10-8 victory.
C. Miller and Whitt had two singles and two RBI each for the winners while Wolff added a single, double and an RBI. Vaughn had a single and drove in three runs.
WSS was led by Kramer with a single, double and an RBI, Ohnesorge with two singles and Hutchison with a double and three RBI.

Brownstown/St. Elmo scored two runs in the second and two in the third for a 4-2 win over Webber Township (Bluford).
Cole Horner was the winning pitcher, allowing two runs on six hits, four walks and striking out seven.
Landon Feezel had a home run and two RBI for the winners. BSE is now 8-8 on the season.

Three pitchers combined for a no-hitter as South Central defeated Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick 12-0 in five innings.
The Cougars took a 3-0 first inning lead, had a four-run second and a five-run fourth. Trent Geiler, Trevor Markley and Ryan Matheny combined for the pitching no-hitter. Geiler went two innings and allowed one walk and had four strikeouts. Markley went two innings and had two strikeouts while Matheny also struck out two in the final inning.
Markley had a single, home run and four RBI to lead the Cougars offensively.

Dieterich had a 13-run second inning and went on to bounce Ramsey 19-0 in five innings Monday.
The Maroons stepped out to a 2-0 first inning lead then had the big second inning and finished with three in the third and one in the fourth.
The Maroons pounded out 13 hits in the contest led by Goedde with two singles, a triple and four RBI, McClain with two singles and an RBI, Esker with two singles and an RBI and Schmidt with two singles, a double and two RBI.
