Teutopolis Downs Windsor/Stew-Stras in Baseball

The Teutopolis Wooden Shoes remained undefeated this fall with an 11-1 five-inning win over the Windsor/Stew-Stras Hatchets Wednesday.
The Shoes took a 2-0 lead in the first. WSS scored in the top of the third, but T-Town scored in the bottom of the frame to make it 3-1. The Shoes added four runs in the fourth and then scored five times in the fifth to win by the 10-run rule.
Teutopolis pounded out 14 hits in the win.
Kyle Smith went the distance for Teutopolis, allowing six hits and walking two while striking out five to improve to 2-0 on the fall. The only run he allowed was on a home run by Isaac Kramer. Kramer took the loss, allowing three runs in three innings on four hits and four walks while striking out three. Hutchinson allowed five runs in 1-1/3 innings on five hits and two walks while fanning two. Moschenrose allowed the final three runs on five hits and a walk in 1/3 of an inning.

Teutopolis improved to 16-0 on the fall, while Windsor/Stew-Stras slipped to 10-3.
