FINDLAY -- Effingham St. Anthony Junior High School downed Effingham Sacred Heart in the Class 1A Findlay Okaw Valley Baseball Regional Saturday, 12-1 in five innings.
The Bullpups edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead then tacked on six runs in the second and four in the third. Braunecker had a double, home run and three RBI for winners. Antrim had a single, double and two RBI while Tingley had three singles and an RBI.
The Shamrocks had two hits, singles by Swingler and Bowlin.
In the second contest Saturday, Findlay Okaw Valley beat Mulberry Grove 9-1. Findlay Okaw Valley advances to face St. Anthony at 4:15 p.m. today for the regional championship.

At Sigel
Dieterich and Neoga advanced to the championship game of the Class 1A Sigel St. Michael Regional with victories Saturday.
Dieterich handed Newton St. Thomas a loss. No score was reported.
In the second game, Neoga beat host St. Michael 8-3. Neoga now faces Dieterich today at 4:30 p.m. for the championshp.
At Teutopolis
In the Class 2A Teutopolis Regional, host T-town handed Casey-Westfield an 8-2 loss in the opening contest Saturday.
In the second game, Cumberland defeated Lawrenceville Parkview 8-4.
T-town will now face Cumberland at 4:30 p.m. today for the regional title.
At Shelbyville
Altamont pushed into the championship game of the Class 2A Shelbyville Moulton Regional.
Altamont beat Sullivan 4-1. In the opening contest, Shelbyville Moulton edged Brownstown/St. Elmo 5-3.
Altamont and Shelbyville Moulton will meet at 4:30 p.m. today for the championship.
At Effingham
Effingham saw its season come to a close with a 6-1 loss to Mattoon in the opening game Saturday of the Class 3A Effingham Regional.
The Mustangs took a 1-0 first inning lead but Mattoon came back with two in the second, third and finished out with two in the sixth.
Ben Perry was the winning pitcher allowing five hits, one walk and striking out six.
In the second contest, Charleston downed Mount Zion 5-3. Charleston now meets Mattoon today for the regional championship at 4:30 p.m.
At Louisville
North Clay (Louisville) claimed the Junior Midland Trail Conference Tournament championship by beating South Central 7-2.
North Clay blasted Cisne 15-0 to reach the title contest. North Clay took a 5-0 first inning lead then tallied four in the third and six in the fourth.
Jones had two doubles and two RBI for the winners while Bible had two singles, a double and four RBI. McCrary and Ingram had two singles each. McCrary added an RBI.
In the championship game, North Clay stepped out to a 3-0 first inning lead then tallied four in the third for the 7-2 win over South Central.
North Clay was led by Jones with a single, home run and four RBI and Clifton with a double.
South Central was led by Lybarger with a double.
