Altamont continued its winning ways Friday, defeating Brownstown/St. Elmo 6-1. 

The Indians banged out seven hits, to four for the Bombers. 

Nick Miller got the win for Altamont, going the distance, walking two and striking out six. Cole Horner took the loss in four-plus innings of work, walking five and striking out four.

At the plate for Altamont: Nick Miller triple, Caden Miller single and RBI, Klaiton Wolff single and RBI, Devon Guerrettaz single and RBI, Brandon Hosick double and single and 2 RBI, Kolby Pemberton double

BSE is now 4-8 on the fall, 1-5 in the NTC.

Dieterich downed Beecher City 13-3 in a five-inning game Friday.

Esker got the win for the Maroons with help from Goedde. Esker walked two and fanned three. Goedde allowed walked one and fanned two in an inning of relief.

Austin Rexroad took the loss allowing 10 runs, just five earned, on nine hits and a walk in three innings of work, striking out six. Miller went an inning, giving up two runs on a hit and three walks, striking out one. Stewart pitched the final inning, allowing a run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout.

In junior high action Friday, North Clay put a whuppin on Iuka, 20-0 in a three-inning game. North Clay scored got better as the game progressed, scoring four in the first, six more in the second and 10 in the third inning to put it away.

Fleener got the win for North Clay, allowing four hits and no walks while fanning four.
