Junior High School Baseball -- Sept. 14

Teutopolis Junior High School claimed an A and B victory over Mount Zion. T-town won the A contest 3-0 scoring all three runs in the first.

T-town had six hits led by Hardiek and Ungrund with a double each. Ungrund added an RBI.

In the B game, T-town picked up a 10-7 victory with three run innings in the fourth, fifth and seventh and a one-run inning in the first.

The Shoes had seven hits led by Overbeck with a triple and two RBI.

In another A contest, T-town trounced Stanford Olympia 13-2 in five innings. The Shoes banged out 13 hits in the contest led by Hemmen with two singles, a home run and an RBI, Hardiek with two singles, a double and four RBI, Ungrund, two doubles and two RBI, M. Deters two singles and an RBI and McMahon with a double and an RBI.

In the B game, T-town trailed Stanford Olympia 3-2 until the fourth then had a three-run fourth. Stanford came back to take a 6-5 lead into the seventh. T-town knotted the score and then banged home seven runs in the eighth to pull out a 13-6 victory.
