Indians Down Bulldogs in Baseball Action

ALTAMONT -- Altamont High School edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead, tacked on three in the second and two in the third to lead 6-0 over Effingham St. Anthony in baseball action Saturday.

Altamont went on to take a 9-2 victory behind 11 hits. Nick Miller had a single, triple and three RBI while Brandon Hosick and Wyatt Vaughn had a single and double each. Hosick drove in two runs and Vaughn one. Caden Miller and Jake Finn had two singles each.

St. Anthony was led by Greg Utz with two singles.
