Effingham St. Anthony stepped out to a 2-0 first inning lead over Mount Zion in junior high baseball action Tuesday and went on for a 7-4 victory.
The Bullpups banged out 15 hits in the contest led by Webb with two singles, a double and five RBI, Tingley with a single and two doubles, Braunecker with a single, double and an RBI and Antrim and Ashton with two singles each.

North Clay (Louisville) blanked Casey-Westfield 13-0 in five innings of junior high school baseball Tuesday.
North Clay took a 3-0 first inning lead, tacked on three more in the second and seven in the third. Zimdars pitched a one-hitter with three walks and four strikeouts.
Clifton had a single, two home runs and seven RBI for the winners. McCrary and C. Fleener added two singles each. Fleener had an RBI.
