Dieterich Wins Over BSE in NTC Contest

Dieterich downed Brownstown/St. Elmo, 12-1 in National Trail Conference baseball Friday.

Dieterich, after a single run in the first, pushed across four runs in both the third and fourth innings and three runs in the fifth to register the win. BSE scored its lone run in the third.

Thoele went the distance for the win, allowing four hits, fanning two and not walking a batter. Feezel took the loss for BSE, allowing nine runs, eight earned, in 3-2/3 innings of work, giving up nine hits and walking two while striking out four. Brown got the last four outs, giving up three hits and a walk while striking out one batter.
