WAYNE CITY -- Brownstown/St. Elmo held Wayne City scoreless in taking a 13-0 win in high school baseball competition Tuesday.
BSE stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and pounded out 12 hits in the contest. Wayne City had eight errors.
Noah Flowers went three-for-five with two singles and a double for the winners. Lewis Brown had two singles and an RBI and Nate Philpot a single, double and two RBI. Landon Feezel was the winning pitcher with one walk and four strikeouts.

Altamont tallied single runs in the first and third innings to lead 2-0 over North Clay (Louisville). The Indians then held a 5-3 lead after four before breaking loose with five runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to end the game with a 13-3 win.
Klaiton Wolff went three-for-three in the contest with a home run and two RBI. Wyatt Vaughn had a single, double and drove in four runs.
