Teutopolis picked up two victories over Effingham in junior high baseball action Saturday.

T-town stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead in the A contest and went on for a 12-2 win. Effingham outhit T-town 6-4. Niebrugge had a single, triple and an RBI while Whitten had two singles for the Mustangs.

T-town was led by Ungrund with two singles and an RBI.

In the B contest, T-town blanked the Mustangs 13-0 in six innings. Addis, Ruholl and Tabbert combined to pitch a no-hitter.

T-town had 15 hits led by D. Deters with two singles, a double and two RBI, Sarchet with two singles and three RBI, Addis with two singles and an RBI, Niebrugge with a single, double and an RBI and Hardiek with two singles and three RBI.

At Strasburg

St. Anthony stepped out to a whopping 18-0 lead and went on to blank Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor 23-0 in three innings in the A game Saturday.

The Bullpups had 22 hits in the contest led by Antrim with two singles, a triple and three RBI, Tingley with two singles a triple and one RBI and Braunecker with two singles, a triple and two RBI.

Kirby had the lone hit for Stew-Stras/Windsor.

In the B contest, St. Anthony tallied a 21-7 victory in three innings to improve to 2-0. Nuxoll, Stephens, Flaig, Faber and Fonner had three hits each for the winners. Stephens drove in four runs while Nuxoll, Stephens, Faber and Fonner had one RBI each. Wiedman added two hits and three RBI.

In the second contest, St. Michael was a 9-2 winner over Okaw Valley. Kaden Fearday was the winning pitcher. Fearday had a single, triple and drove in a run. C. Fearday had a single and double.
