Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tourney -- July 16

The finals are set for the Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tournament after games were played Thursday at Community Park.

In the opener, Taylor Law downed Dan Hecht Chevrolet 9-3. Taylor Law took a 6-2 first inning lead and tacked on a single run in the third and two in the fourth.

Eli Levitt led the team offensively with a single and double while Nick Poston added a triple.

Dan Hecht was led by Pete Britton with a single and double and Connor Thompson with a double.

In the second contest of the evening, Elks Club scored two runs in the third, fourth, fifth and sixth innings in taking an 8-2 win over South Central FS.

Sam Deters banged out two singles and a double for the winners. Garrett Wolfe added a double.

Jared Hammer led South Central FS with two singles.

Taylor Law and Elks Club will now meet for the championship at 7:30 p.m. today. The third place game with South Central FS and Dan Hecht will square off at 5:30 p.m.
