Kemper CPA Claims 11-12 Year-Old League Tourney Title

Kemper CPA captured the championship of the 11-12 Year-Old League Baseball Tournament Thursday at Community Park.

NAPA edged out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the second but Kemper came back with a three-run bottom of the inning and tacked on three more in the third.

Matthew Loy picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter. Loy added a triple while Felitz had a double.

Cripe, Bell and Thompson had a single each for NAPA.

In the third place contest, Schumacher Orthodontics downed Dairy Queen 10-3. Schumacher stepped out to an early 3-0 lead and never looked back.

Schumacher had five hits led by Weber and Brewer with a double each. Brewer knocked in a run.

Walsh and Smith led Schumacher with a double each.
