CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Eastern Illinois baseball has placed two more players on collegiate summer league All-Star teams as the Northwoods League and Great Lakes League announced their rosters for July 21 games this week. Earlier in July, Demetre Taylor (Coastal Plains League), Josh Turnock (Midwest Collegiate League) and Matt Wivinis (Prospect League) were selected as summer league All-Stars. Incoming junior college pitcher Mike McCormick was also selected as a Prospect League All-Star.

Scholl is playing this summer with the Kenosha Kingfish in the Northwoods League splitting time between catcher and designated hitter. Scholl is hitting .296 with eight home runs and 21 RBI. The Northwoods League All-Star game will be played July 21 at Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

Thurston is pitching this summer with the Hamilton Joes in the Great Lakes League.
