Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tournament -- July 14

Prime Sole claimed a 9-5 win over Rotary Club in the Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Baseball Tournament Tuesday at Community Park.

Prime Sole edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead. Rotary Club pushed ahead in the top of the second 2-1 but Prime Sole tallied three runs in the bottom of the frame and was never behind the rest of the way.

Andrew Splechter pitched a one-hitter for the win. David Splechter picked up the save.

A. Splechter led in hitting with a single and two triples. Charlie Wegman added a double. Prime Sole advances to face South Central FS at 5:30 p.m. today.

In the second contest, Tanner Pontious pitched a no-hitter for the win while John Holste continued the good pitching for the save as Scott Mosher Country Insurance blanked Sherwin Williams 10-0.

Mosher took a 9-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Gabe Gordan had a double while Braxton Lewis had two singles.

Scott Mosher now meets Elks Club at 7:30 p.m. today.
