Altamont Downs Stew-Stras in Junior High Play

STEWARDSON -- Altamont Junior High School captured a 4-1 victory over Stewardson-Strasburg Wednesday.

The two teams went scoreless through the first three innings before Altamont tallied all four of its runs in the fourth on two walks, two hit batsmen and a double by R. Armstrong.  That was Altamont's lone hit of the game.

Armstrong picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter with three walks and 13 strikeouts. Altamont improves to 15-2 on the season.

Stew-Stras had two hits, singles by Kramer and Nichols.
