Brown's Drug Store edged Russ Braunecker Oldsmobile-Cadillac 9-8 in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tournament play Monday at Community Park.
Brown's edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead then had a five-run second and tacked on two runs in the fourth. Braunecker pulled within 9-4 in the fifth then mounted a comeback with four runs in the sixth only to fall short.
Josh McDevitt picked up the three-hit pitching win. Aidon Eirhart had two singles, a double and triple for the winners. Aiden Hardiek added a single and double and McDevitt two singles.
Landon Rinkel had a single and triple for Braunecker.
In the second contest, Tingley Insurance claimed an 8-6 win over Heritage Builders. Heritage Builders held a 6-2 lead until the fourth. Tingley then had a three-run inning and pulled out the win with a three-run fifth.
Riley Darkow had a triple for the winners. Tyler Wetherell had a triple for Heritage.
Tonight's games find Prime Sole taking on Rotary Club at 5:30 followed by Scott Mosher Country Insurance meeting Sherwin Williams at 7:30.
