Pairings Announced for Khoury League, Little League Tournaments

The Effingham Park District has announced the pairings for the Khoury League and Little League Touraments, both of which begin on Monday at Community Park.

In the Khoury League Tournament, Brown's Drug Store will take on Russ Braunecker at 5:30pm Monday while Tingley Insurance will play Heritage Builders at 7:30pm Monday. The winner of the Brown's/Braunecker game will play top-seeded Taylor Law at 5:30pm Wednesday and the Tingley/Heritage winner will play #4 seed Dan Hecht at 7:30pm Wednesday.

Tuesday action will see Prime Sole take on Rotary Wheels at 5:30pm while Scott Mosher Country Financial will play Sherwin Williams at 7:30pm. The Prime Sole/Rotary winner will play #2 seed South Central FS at 5:30pm Thursday while the Mosher/Sherwin Williams winner will take on #3 seed Elks Club at 7:30pm Thursday.

The tournament semifinals will be played at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Monday, July 13, with the third place and championship games at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Tuesday, July 14.

As for the Little League Tournament, Dekalb will take on Arab Pest Control at 5:30pm Monday followed by Dairy Queen and Northside Ford at 7:30pm Monday. Scumacher Orthodontics will play Kingery Printing at 5:30pm Tuesday while NAPA will take on Arrow Pest Control at 7:30pm Tuesday. The Dekalb/Arab winner will play top seed Kemper CPA Group at 5:30pm Thursday while the DQ/Northside winner will play #2 seed Rhodes to Health Chiropractic at 7:30pm Thursday.

The semifinals of the tournament will be played at 5:30pm and 7:30pm Monday, July 13, with the third place and championship games at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday, July 15.
