Babe Ruth Prep League Results -- June 30

The Warriors captured a 16-2 win over Effingham Asphalt in Babe Ruth Prep League competition Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

The Warriors took a 6-0 first inning lead and never looked back. Justin Hardiek had a single and double while Jacob Pals and Dylan Overbeck had two singles each for the winners.

Tate Niebrugge and Justin Buennemeyer had a single each for Effingham Asphalt.

In the second contest, JCR Carpentry stepped out to a 4-1 first inning lead and went on to beat Taylor Law Offices 12-5.

Reilly Ashton, Aaron Kirby and Sutherlan Litke had a single each for the winners. Jack Matteson and Logan Arend had a double each for Taylor.
