Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 29

Mid-Illinois Concrete took a 2-0 first inning lead and finished with nine runs in the fifth for a 16-3 win over Tri-Power Towing in Junior Babe Ruth League action at Paul Smith Field Monday.

Colin Koester had a single, double and two RBI for the winners. Joseph Kabbes led Tri-Power with two doubles.

In the seconed contest, Sehy & Jones and K. Wohltman Construction were tied at 2-2 after the first inning. Sehy & Jones pushed ahead 8-7 after four. K. Wohltman tied in the sixth. Sehy & Jones then won it 12-8 with four runs in the seventh.

Lucas Vasquez led the winners with a single, double and two RBI. Zach Lee had a double and an RBI and Michael Lovett two singles and two RBI.

Lucus Sparks led K. Wohltman with a single, triple and three RBI.
