Sehy & Jones, Midland States Bank Capture Junior Babe Ruth Victories

Sehy & Jones blanked Tri-Power Towing 3-0 in Junior Babe Ruth League competition Wednesday at Paul Smith Field.

Sehy & Jones edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then tallied single runs in the sixth and seventh innings. Ben Mendella, Michael Lovett, Caleb Wendt and Liam Hammer had a single each for the winners. Lovett added an RBI.

Derek Moschenrose and Dalton Owens had a single each for Tri-Power.

Midland States Bank stepped out to a 2-0 first inning lead. Mid-Iillinois Concrete tied in the top of the fourth. Midland States Bank scored three in the bottom of the fourth for the 5-3 victory.

Chase Thies had a double for the winners. Bryce Lohman had a double and an RBI for Mid-Illinois.
