Russ Braunecker and Elks Club picked up Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League wins at Community Park Wednesday evening.
Braunecker opened the evening trailing Prime Sole 1-0 until the third then broke the game wide open with an 11-run inning. Braunecker went on for a 15-4 victory.
Jett Rose pitched a four-hitter. Braunecker had 10 hits in the contest led by Braxton Hall and Andrew Donaldson with a single and double each and Rose with a single and triple. Donaldson had four RBI and Hall drove in three runs. Rose added two runs.
Charlie Wegman led Prime Sole with two singles and an RBI.
In the second contest, Elks Club claimed a 12-7 win over Dan Hecht Chevrolet. Elks broke a 1-1 tie with a three-run second then had a six-run fifth.
Josh Jensen had a double for the winners. Conner Roepke had a single, home run and five RBI. Garrett Wolfe, Sam Deters and Conlan Walsh had two singles and two RBI each.
Dan Hecht was led by Eli Levitt with two singles, a double and one RBI, Evan Waymoth with a single, double and two RBI and Ethan Bernhart with two singles and two RBI.
