11-12 Year-Old League -- June 9

Kemper CPA trailed Rhodes Chiropractic 3-1 until the fifth then had a seven-run inning to pull out an 8-3 victory Tuesday at Community Park.

Both teams had seven hits. Kemper was led by Moore with a double and three RBI and Koester with two singles. Wolfe led Rhodes with a double and an RBI while Woelfer and Blanchette had two singles each.

In the second game, NAPA came back with two runs in the sixth to edge Dairy Queen 6-5. The score was tied at 4-4 after five innings. NAPA moved ahead in the top of the sixth then held off Dairy Queen in the bottom of the frame.

Cripe had a single and double for the winners. Faber led Dairy Queen with two singles.
