11-12 Year-Old League -- June 2

Kingery Printing stepped out to a 2-0 first inning lead and went on to down Arab Pest Control 7-4 in 11-12 Year-Old League play Tuesday evening at Community Park.

Arab came back with four runs to lead 4-2 in the second but Kingery tallied four in the bottom of the third to regain the lead and never looked back.

Alex Eirhart picked up the pitching win while Kalen Reardon had the save. Tucker Moeller led the winners with two singles and an RBI. Angelo Mendella led Arab with two singles.

Arrow Pest Control edged Dairy Queen 7-6. Dairy Queen held a 4-3 lead after three innings. Arrow tied in the bottom of the fourth. Dairy Queen took a 5-4 lead in the top of the sixth but Arrow came back in the bottom of the frame to knot the score once again. Dairy Queen again edged ahead 6-5 in the top of the seventh.

Arrow then tallied two runs to pull out the win in the bottom of the frame. Arrow had only two hits led by Burgess and Dylan Cunningham with a single each. Burgess added two RBI and Cunningham one RBI.

Gavan Wernsing had a single, triple and three RBI for Dairy Queen.
