Cal Ripken League -- May 26-27 Results

Schumacher Orthodontics edged Dairy Queen in 11-12 Year-Old League action Wednesday at Community Park.

Schumacher took a 2-0 third inning lead and led 4-0 in the sixth. Dairy Queen came back to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth. Schumacher pushed ahead 8-4 in the top of the seventh. Dairy Queen's second attempt at a comeback fell a run short in the bottom of the frame, 8-7.

Jackson Lee had a single and double for Schumacher while Brayden Pals had a double and two RBI.

In the second game, Kemper CPA bounced Kingery Printing 20-3. Kemper had an 11-run third inning.

Matthew Loy had a single, two doubles and three RBI for the winners while Eli Moore had a single, double and an RBI. Kaleb Bolyard added a double and two RBI.

In games that were played Tuesday, Rhodes Chiropractic defeated NAPA 5-3 while Arrow Pest Control blanked Northside Ford 9-0.
