Hearts Set to Host 3A Regional

The Effingham Hearts will host their own Class 3A baseball regional this week, as Chris Fleener's team hopes for a deep post-season run.

The tournament starts with a play-in game on Monday, as Centralia plays at Olney at 4:30pm.

Monday's winner will play Charleston on Wednesday at 4pm at Paul Smith Field in Community Park. Salem will then play Effingham at 6pm Wednesday.

The Wednesday winners will play for the regional championship on Saturday, May 30 at 10am. The winner will advance to the Salem 3A Sectional.
