St. Anthony Bounces St. Teresa, Area Baseball Scores

Effingham St. Anthony took a 7-1 first inning lead and went on for an 11-1 win in five innings to beat Decatur St. Teresa in baseball action Wednesday.

Zach Gardewine picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter with one walk and 10 strikeouts.

Jacob Lorenz had a single, double and drove in three runs. Six other players had a hit each for St. Anthony.
