ST. ELMO -- Dieterich traveled to St. Elmo for junior high baseball play and downed the host squad, 5-2 Thursday. Dieterich had seven hits in the contest.
Schmidt picked up the pitching win on a three-hitter. Randloff had a hit and drove in two runs.

Altamont stepped out to a 4-0 first inning lead and ended the game in the fifth via the 15-run rule.
Altamont had nine hits in the contest led by Armstrong with three singles. Beecher City was led by Aaron Nohren with two doubles.

Q. Aldrich, B. Walker, R. Blank and B. Repking had two hits each for the winners. Aldrich had two RBI while Walker, Blank and Repking had one each.
