Chad, Chase Green Named to All-League Teams

Effingham High School graduates, Chad and Chase Green, were named to Baseball League Post-Season All-League Teams.

In the Cape Cod Baseball League, Phil Ervin (Samford) picked up the Most Valuable Player award. Sean Manaea (Indiana State) took Top Pitcher award and Patrick Biondi (Michigan) was the Batting Champion.

Manaea is joined by All-League pitchers Chad Green (Louisville), Jarrett Arakawa (Hawaii), Kyle Crockett (Virginia), Sam Moll (Memphis) and Tom Windle (Minnesota).

Chase Green (SIU-Edwardsville) who played for team Amsterdam, was named to the 2012 Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League All-League Team. Green plays shortstop and is a sophomore.
