(Chicago, IL) -- The White Sox are bringing back infielder Gordon Beckham. The two sides have agreed to a one-year, two-million-dollar contract. The 28-year-old was traded by the White Sox to the Angels in August last season.

Beckham hit a combined .226 with 27 doubles, nine homers and 44 RBI in 127 games. To make room, the Sox designated outfielder Dayan Viciedo for assignment.
