Altamont No-Hits Dieterich Friday

Derek Dulaney pitched a five-inning no-hitter Friday as the Altamont Indians blanked the Dieterich Movin Maroons 11-0 at Altamont.

Dulaney walked four but fanned eight in pitching the no-no.  Brandon Westjohn took the loss for Dieterich, allowing nine runs, seven earned, on seven hits in three innings, walking five and striking out two.  Devin Aherin pitched an inning, allowing two runs on three hits and fanning a batter.

At the plate for Altamont, Garrett Ziegler reached base twice and scored twice, Clayton Ruckman had three hits including a double and scored twice while driving in three runs, Austin Finn got a hit and scored, Austin Scholes had a hit and drove in two runs, Dulaney reached base and scored, Luke Armstrong got a hit and scored, Cole Borders had a hit and drove in two runs, Jon Kuhns got two hits and scored twice, and Aaron Goeckner singled, scored twice and drove in two runs.
