(Chicago, IL) -- The Cubs are declining their 2015 option on pitcher Kyuji Fujikawa. He will be a free agent. He had Tommy John surgery in 2013 and returned late in 2014.  Fujikawa pitched in just 15 games in 2014.

Cardinals Exercise League-Minimum Option On Lackey

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Cardinals are exercising the 2015 option on pitcher John Lackey. He was acquired from Boston at the trade deadline, and a clause in his contract makes the option worth just $500,000 after he missed all of 2012 due to reconstructive elbow surgery.
