World Series Shifts To San Francisco For Game Three

(San Francisco, CA) -- After a travel day on Thursday, the World Series shifts to San Francisco tonight for Game Three between the Royals and Giants at AT&T Park. The best-of-seven matchup is tied at a game apiece after the Royals took Game Two 7-2 on Wednesday in Kansas City. The Giants won the series opener 7-1 on Tuesday. Jeremy Guthrie is scheduled to start tonight for the Royals, while the Giants hand the ball to Tim Hudson.

First pitch is set for 7:07 p.m. Central. The Giants are trying for their third World Series title in the last five seasons. The Royals are seeking their second championship, but first since 1985.


Cardinals' Wainwright, Molina Gold Glove Finalists

(New York, NY) -- The Cardinals have two players named as finalists for Gold Glove Awards this season. Pitcher Adam Wainwright and catcher Yadier Molina are among three players picked at each position in each league. The winners will be announced on November 4.

Shortstop Alexei Ramirez and center fielder Adam Eaton represent the White Sox.
