(St. Louis, MO) -- Kolten Wong hit a solo homer down the right field line in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Cardinals to a 5-4 win over the Giants in Game Two of the NLCS from St. Louis. Matt Adams had given the Cards the lead in the bottom of the eighth with a solo homer, but Matt Duffy scored from second in the top of the ninth on a wild pitch to tie the game.

Oscar Taveras hit a solo shot in the seventh to knot the game at three, and Matt Carpenter smacked a solo homer in the third for St. Louis. Seth Maness grabbed the win. Cards catcher Yadier Molina left early with a strained oblique. Sergio Romo suffered the loss in relief. The best-of-seven series is locked up at 1-1.

The Cardinals may not have catcher Yadier Molina moving forward. The All-Star backstop left last night's game in the sixth inning with an oblique strain.  Tony Cruz took over behind the plate. Manager Mike Matheny said Molina's injury did not look very good.

The Cardinals and Giants have a travel day today as the NLCS heads to the Bay Area. San Francisco will host the next three games at AT&T Park, beginning with Game Three Tuesday afternoon at 3:07 p.m. John Lackey is slated to oppose Tim Hudson.
