BROWNSTOWN -- Webber Township (Bluford) came calling and handed Brownstown/St. Elmo a 7-3 loss in high school baseball action Wednesday. The game was called after six innings due to darkness.
BSE took a 2-1 first inning lead but Webber came back with a five-ruin second. BSE had three hits in the contest, all singles by Drake Hall, Lewis Brown and Landon Feezel. BSE is now 6-9 on the season.

South Central trounced Odin 17-8 Wednesday evening. The Cougars edged out to a 3-2 first inning lead then led 8-4 after two.
The Cougars had 16 hits led by Powless with a single, double, home run and four RBI. Smith had a single, home run and three RBI. Harmeier had three doubles and an RBI. Ratermann added two singles and two RBI.
Williams led Odin with a home run and two RBI. Hofsteter had two singles and Quick a single and two RBI.
South Central improves to 11-3.
