Teutopolis Downs Windsor/Stew-Stras

WINDSOR -- Devin Smith pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts as the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes downed Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 12-1 in five innings Wednesday.

Smith allowed only one walk and pushed his pitching record to 4-0. Deremiah got the lone hit with a single.

T-town had 15 hits, seven of those extra base hits. J. Kreke and B. Mette had two singles, a double and two RBI each. A. Johnson had a single, double and two RBI while J. Thoele had a single, triple and three RBI. J. Bloemer had a single and triple. L. Niemerg and Smith had a double and an RBI each.

The Shoes are now a perfect 17-0 on the season.
