Effingham St. Anthony took a 2-0 first inning lead and went on for an 11-1 win over Charleston in six innings of junior high baseball Tuesday.

Luke Ludwig pitched the four-hitter. Wall had two doubles and an RBI while Guy had three singles and two RBI and Strullmeyer a double and two RBI. The Bullpups are now 10-2 on the season.

St. Anthony fell to Mount Zion Monday 11-0 in five innings via the 10-run rule.

At Strasburg

Altamont blanked Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor 13-0 in five innings. Altamont held a 1-0 first inning lead then had a four-run third, a three-run fourth and ended the game with a five-run fifth.

Altamont had 13 hits in the contest. Biggs had three hits and an RBI while Schmidt and Delaney had two hits each. Biggs pitched a one-hitter with two walks and 11 strikeouts.

Teutopolis tallied the only runs it needed in the second inning in a 2-1 win over Sullivan.

T-town had only two hits, singles by Braydan Will and Kendall Tabbert. Tabbert added an RBI. Luke Ungrund picked up the pitching win, going five innings, allowing no runs on two hits, one walk and four strikeouts.

Odin broke a 2-2 tie with a five-run third and went on to down North Clay (Louisville) 12-2 in six innings.
