Junior High School Baseball -- Sept. 8

CASEY -- Teutopolis Junior High School stepped out to a 2-0 first inning lead over Casey-Westfield and went on to end the game via the 10-run rule, 15-0 Monday.

Jacob Pals guided the Shoes with two singles, a double and three RBI while Kendal Zerrusen had two singles, a triple and two RBI, Trenton Schwerdt added a single, double and an RBI and Braydan Will two single. T-town is now 9-4.

T-town's B team lost 11-8 to Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor and drops to 9-2 on the season.

Dieterich played host to Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick and captured an 8-4 victory.

Dieterich had four hits while BCCH had seven hits but finished with five errors.

At Meredian

Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor played an A doubleheader against Meridian and lost both contests.

Meridian won the opener 4-3 with two runs in the bottom of the seventh.

In the second contest, Meridian claimed a 9-6 victory behind 11 hits. Stew-Stras/Windsor had nine hits led by Grueul, Kirby and Beck with two hits each.
