PATOKA -- Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick edged Patoka 2-1 in high school baseball action Monday evening.
The two teams went scoreless through five innings. BCCH then tallied two runs in the sixth.
Rexroad picked up the pitching win on a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts. BCCH is now 1-3 on the season and hosts St. Anthony today.

At Teutopolis
Teutopolis blanked Odin 11-0 in five innings via the 10-run rule Monday.
T-town tallied single runs in the first, second and third innings then brought home eight runs in the fourth to end the contest.
K. Smith picked up the pitching win on a four-hitter with one walk and 11 strikeouts. He is now 2-0.
B. Mette had a single, triple and two RBI while D. Smith and J. Bloemer had two singles each. Bloemer added two RBI. L. Niemerg had a double. The Shoes are now 7-0.
Odin was led by D. Quick with a single and double. The Eagles drop to 4-1.
