The Dieterich Movin Maroons won over the Altamont Indians, 4-1, in action Friday at Altamont.

Dieterich's four-run third inning was the difference. Altamont posted its lone run in the bottom of the frame.

Dieterich recorded seven hits; three for Poe, two for Thoele, and one apiece for Hartke and Shoemaker. Poe drove in three runs; Shoemaker got the other RBI.

For Altamont, Finn got two hits and Nick Miller and Klaiton Wolff each had a hit. Wolff drove in the Altamont run.

Bohnoff went the distance for the win for the Maroons; allowing two walks to go with the four hits and striking out two. J. Miller started for Altamont, allowing all four runs, three earned, on four hits, one walk and one strikeout in 2-1/3 innings of work. C. Miller pitched the final 4-2/3 innings, allowing three hits and fanning three.

Brownstown/St. Elmo posted a 3-1 win over Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick Friday.

Drake Hall pitched a complete game for the win for the Bombers, allowing five hits and a walk, hitting a batter and fanning nine. Austin Rexroad took the loss for the Eagles, also going the distance and allowing eight hits and two walks, but striking out 15.
