FARINA -- South Central edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead then had a five-run second to beat Patoka, 10-2 Wednesday.

Powless picked up the pitching win going four iinnings, allowing two hits and striking out 10. Powless aided his own cause offensively with a single, home run and an RBI. Wilkins had two singles and an RBI and Ratermann three singles and an RBI.

South Central is now 2-0 on the season.
