Philly's Taney Little League Falls To Las Vegas

(South Williamsport, PA) -- Philadelphia's Taney Little League is on the brink of elimination at the Little League World Series. Mo'ne Davis and the Taney Dragons were rocked 8-1 by Las Vegas Wednesday at Lamade Stadium. The team from Philly now faces Jackie Robinson West out of Chicago in an elimination game on Thursday. The winner will play Las Vegas in the U.S. Championship Game Saturday. Las Vegas has beaten both Chicago and Philadelphia by a combined score of 21-3.
On the other side of the bracket, South Korea is into the International Championship game after knocking off Japan, 4-2. Japan takes on Mexico Thursday with the winner advancing to face South Korea in the International Championship Saturday.
