11-12 Year Old League Tournament -- July 17

Rhodes Chiropractic blanked Kemper CPA to capture the championship of the 11-12 Year-Old League Baseball Tournament Thursday evening at Community Park, 7-0.

Rhodes edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then tacked on another run in the second and put the contest away with a five-run third.

Lohman led the winners with a single and solo home run. He finished with three RBI. Sam Thompson led Kemper with a double.

Brayton Poland picked up the three-hit pitching victory.

In the third place contest, Nate Shackleford pitched a no-hitter as Schumacher Orthodontics blanked NAPA, 10-0.

Schumacher stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead and that's all it took. The winners had nine hits in the contest led by Hunzinger with two singles and a double, Weber with a single, double and two RBI and Donsbach and Evans with a double and an RBI each.
