Justin Brown pitched a one-hitter while teammates had nine hits and scored a 15-1 win over the Teutopolis Warriors in Babe Ruth Prep League play Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.
Ben Mendella had two doubles and three RBI for the winners while Chase Lanham, Bryan Wall and Liam Hammer had a double each. Lanham drove in four runs while Wall had one RBI. Justin Brown had two singles and three RBI.
Kennedy Wendt had the lone hit for the Warriors with a single.
In the second contest, Niemerg Construction defeated Teutopolis Falcons 10-7. The Falcons held a 6-5 lead after three innings. Niemerg tied the score in the bottom of the fourth. The Falcons moved ahead 7-6 in the fifth. Niemerg then put the contest away with a four-run fifth.
Niemerg had 10 hits in the contest led by Blake Niebrugge with two singles, a double and an RBI and Dylan Guy with a single, double and two RBI.
Alex Deters led the Falcons with two singles and an RBI.
