Prime Sole took a 3-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Rotary Wheels 17-4 in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League Tournament play Wednesday evening at Community Park.
Eli Link pitched a five-hitter and also aided his team offensively with a double, two triples and four RBI. Zerrusen had a double, triple and five RBI while Andrew Spechter had a triple and a grand slam home run. He finished with five RBI. Schmidt added a single and double.
Rotary was led by Tyler Budde with a single, double and three-run homer. He finished with four RBI.
In the second game, Russ Braunecker banged home 18 runs in an 18-5 victory over Sherwin Williams.
It was a home run bash as Braunecker took a 13-0 first inning lead. Noah Dill hit a grand slam in the inning while Zander Koester had a two-run shot and Gavin Wernsing a solo homer.
Koester added another home run in the second, this one a three-run shot. Dill added a double to his home run and finished with four RBI. Koester had a single plus the two home runs and six RBI. Wernsing had a double, triple, home run and two RBI.
Will Kreke led Sherwin Williams with a double and two RBI.
The tournament continues tonight as Tingley Insurance faces Dan Hecht at 5:30 followed by Taylor Law against Brown's Drug Store at 7:30.
