The Teutopolis Jaguars handed JCR Carpentry a 14-7 loss in Babe Ruth Prep League competition at Community Park Tuesday evening.

JCR Carpentry took a 2-0 first inning lead then pushed that to 5-0 in the second and 7-0 in the third. The Jaguars started their comeback bid in the fourth with two runs, then tallied a run in the fifth and broke the game wide open with an 11-run sixth.

The Jaguars had 12 hits in the contest led by Jack Hoene, Lee Nosbisch and Dawson Smith with a single and a double each. Smith had one RBI, Hoene two and Nosbisch four. Braydon Will added two singles and an RBI.

Bryson Wall led JCR with three singles and an RBI.

In the second game the Teutopolis Mustangs took an 11-5 win over Taylor Law Offices.

The Mustangs edged out to a 2-1 first inning lead then tallied three runs in the second, fourth and fifth innings.

Tyler Runde had the lone extra base hit for the winners with a double and two RBI. Bryson Wall and Dawson Guerrettaz had a double each. Wall had three RBI and Guerrettaz one.
