PAC Wins Game Day Freedom Classic

INDIANAPOLIS -- The PAC Team Extreme 14 year old baseball team continued its winning ways by capturing the Game Day Freedom Classic Championship at Grand Park  in Indianapolis  over the weekend.

The PAC earned the top seed in pool play and won three straight games Sunday, including a win over Lexington Kentucky by a score of 6-2 in the championship game.

After successes in Chicago and Notre Dame the past two weeks, the PAC 14 year old team won its fourth championship this summer in Grand Park, the brand new $45 million, 26 diamond sports complex just north of Indianapolis. Grand Park was built on 400 acres and is the single largest multi-purpose youth complex in the United States.

The PAC players include Mason Hull, Brett Koester, Brent Beals, Lee Hardiek, Cody Jansen, Drew Gibson, Ryan Sandifer, Turner Pullen, Tyler Gottfried, and Quin Martz. The coaches are Jeff Hardiek, Chris Koester and Larry Jansen.
