Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League -- July 2

The first game of the night in Tomorrow's Stars Khoury League play ended in a tie Wednesday evening at Community Park.

Prime Sole and Dan Hecht played to a 7-7 tie with the time limit ending the contest.

Prime Sole had seven hits led by Link and Zerrusen with a single and a double each. Link had two RBI while Zerrusen had one.

Dan Hecht was led by Britton with three singles and an RBI. Kirby had a single and three RBI.

In the second game, Tingley Insurance edged Sherwin Williams 9-8. Tingley held an 8-1 lead going into the fourth when Sherwin Williams tallied seven runs to knot the score. The winning run came in the bottom of the fourth.

Tingley had three less hits than Sherwin Williams, but all were extra base hits. C. Bushue and Feldhake had a double each while Volpi had a triple. C. Bushue drove in three runs and Volpi one.

Overbeck had two singles and two RBI for Sherwin Williams while Frauli had a double, triple and three RBI and Villalobos a double and two RBI.

In the final contest, Brown's Drug Store trounced Heritage Builders 14-3 in four innings. Brown's banged out 13 hits in the contest while Josh McDevitt pitched a one-hitter.

McDevitt was also one of the offensive leaders with a single, three-run homer and finished with five RBI. Schmidt added three singles and three RBI while Flach and Moulton had a double each. Moulton finished with two RBI.

McCoy had the lone hit, a single, for Heritage Builders.
