Altamont Post 512 Claims Doubleheader

DIETERICH -- Klaiton Wolff pitched a one-hitter as Altamont Post 512 blanked Dieterich Post 628 5-0 in game one of an American Legion baseball doubleheader Monday.

Wolff picked up the pitching win behind no walks and 10 strikeouts. Nick Miller, Caden Miller and Kolby Pemberton had two singles each for the winners. C. Miller had two RBI while N. Miller had one.

In the second game, Altamont had a seven-run second and went on for a 12-0 win, ending the game in the fifth via the 10-run rule. Cody Grove pitched a three-hitter with two walks and four strikeouts.

Wolff had a single, double and two RBI while N. Miller had two singles and an RBI and Thomas Caravello two singles and two RBI.
