Junior Babe Ruth League -- June 30

Mid-Illinois Concrete edged Sehy & Jones Optometrists 6-5 in Junior Babe Ruth League play at Paul Smith Field Monday evening.

Colby Utz pitched the seven-hitter while Alec Morrissey came on for the save. Matt Goedde hit an inside the park home run for the winners and had two RBI. Parker Seachrist banged out two singles, a double and had two RBI. Ryan Huelsbusch added two singles and an RBI and Brent Beals and Chris Cole a double each.

Donovan Hammer led Sehy & Jones with a single, double and an RBI. Bryar Jansen added two singles.

In the second game, K. Wohltman Construction downed Tri-Power Towing 11-7.

K. Wohltman had seven hits in the contest led by Derek Moschenrose with a double, triple and three RBI. Brandon Puckett had a double and an RBI while Brogan Hull had a double and two RBI. Landin Feezel had a triple and an RBI.

Xander Calip and Austin Weber had a triple each for Tri-Power Towing.
